The Visual Arts Career at the University of the Arts aims to provide high-level academic training to future Ecuadorian artists, offering an innovative academic space in the field of Latin American art, encouraging the active and outstanding participation of these new artists in the positive transformation of the artistic and cultural scene in the region, seeking training that endorses professionals with intellectual solidity, critical spirit, creative mentality and deep ethical sense and social responsibility, as well as providing them with diverse instruments and resources necessary to generate new aesthetic proposals.

GRADUATE PROFILE:

The Visual Arts career graduate is a professional, aware of the complexities of contemporary artistic culture, both regional and Latin American and is capable of drawing, in it, his own itinerary, since he has artistic skills, criticism and management skills and self-management that allow him to develop relevant proposals and intervene in front of the cultural requirements of the time, as an active member and creator of the «contemporary» in art. In the labor field, he will create, design, develop and produce artistic, environmental, community, educational and advertising projects; At the same time, it will employ creative and continuous improvement procedures that demand the professional performance of these practices.
