The University of the Arts, Ecuador (UArtes), is the first public university from Ecuador that has an exclusive focus on an intercultural education in arts, with an emphasis in multidisciplinary practices.

It is located in downtown Guayaquil by the river side of the gorgeous Guayas river providing a stimulating artistic environment for its students and community.

UArtes offers bachelors and masters programs within the field of filmmaking, Music, Literature, Visual Arts, and Performing Arts.
