Educational Model<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The educational model of the University of the Arts defines the philosophical foundations of our work, aligned with the institution's vision, mission, and guiding ethical principles. This model provides a clear framework that shapes academic and creative activities, structured around the three core functions of higher education: teaching, research, and community engagement. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our starting point is the need to strike a balance between artistic practice and educational practice, while fostering equitable relationships that recognize the diverse individual and collective capacities involved in the generation and production of knowledge among the members of the UArtes university community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To this end, the model rests on three essential pillars: sentipensar (feeling-thinking), saber cuidar (the ethics of care), and saber crear (the art of creation)<\/strong>. These principles aim to develop artists of excellence\u2014grounded in ethical depth and sensitivity\u2014who are capable of generating innovative and relevant artistic proposals that make a meaningful contribution to the cultural development and social transformation of our country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
