{"id":12194,"date":"2020-12-18T22:34:00","date_gmt":"2020-12-19T03:34:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.uartes.edu.ec\/sitio\/?p=12194"},"modified":"2024-07-04T11:33:05","modified_gmt":"2024-07-04T16:33:05","slug":"darwin-santillan-analiza-producciones-de-regueton-y-dancehall-de-2000-a-2010","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.uartes.edu.ec\/sitio\/en\/blog\/2020\/12\/18\/darwin-santillan-analiza-producciones-de-regueton-y-dancehall-de-2000-a-2010\/","title":{"rendered":"Darwin Santill\u00e1n analiza producciones de reguet\u00f3n y dancehall de 2000 a 2010"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cAn\u00e1lisis sociocultural y t\u00e9cnico-musical de las producciones de reguet\u00f3n y dancehall en Guayaquil desde 2000 el hasta el 2010\u201d es el proyecto de investigaci\u00f3n te\u00f3rico que Darwin Mauricio Santill\u00e1n Mantilla defendi\u00f3 previo a la obtenci\u00f3n del t\u00edtulo de licenciado en Producci\u00f3n Musical y Sonora, en la Universidad de las Artes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En su trabajo de investigativo analiza los aspectos socioculturales y t\u00e9cnico-musicales de las producciones de reguet\u00f3n y dancehall en Guayaquil, en la primera d\u00e9cada del nuevo milenio. El hoy licenciado de la Escuela de Artes Sonoras incluy\u00f3 el testimonio de los protagonistas, desde sus trabajos discogr\u00e1ficos hasta su enfoque social y cultural, quienes contribuyeron en la consolidaci\u00f3n de estos g\u00e9neros urbanos. Sin embargo, se identific\u00f3 la carencia de investigaciones sobre estos g\u00e9neros en Guayaquil. La metodolog\u00eda empleada se sustent\u00f3 en documentos bibliogr\u00e1ficos, sitios web, discos f\u00edsicos, repositorios digitales y entrevistas semiestructuradas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Se incorpor\u00f3, adem\u00e1s, informaci\u00f3n que fundament\u00f3 te\u00f3ricamente los aspectos hist\u00f3ricos, sociales, culturales, t\u00e9cnicos, vinculados directamente con las producciones de reguet\u00f3n y dancehall. Las conclusiones proponen la apertura investigativa sobre estas m\u00fasicas urbanas que son relevantes en la construcci\u00f3n de identidades socioculturales urbanas, y porque obtuvieron un singular protagonismo en la atm\u00f3sfera cultural y musical de esta ciudad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En la pertinencia de este proyecto el autor plante\u00f3 el estudio desde una perspectiva musical y cultural de las producciones de reguet\u00f3n y dancehall en Guayaquil del 2000 al 2010, cuya propuesta musical, desde los a\u00f1os 90, est\u00e1 relacionada directamente con sonidos producidos digitalmente, a trav\u00e9s de <em>software<\/em> de edici\u00f3n de audio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para este prop\u00f3sito se realiz\u00f3 un proceso de investigaci\u00f3n, discernimiento, inducci\u00f3n y an\u00e1lisis de los protagonistas y de los factores sociales y culturales significativos que contribuyeron en la formaci\u00f3n de estudios de grabaci\u00f3n, sellos musicales independientes, productores, DJ, cantantes, programas radiales, discotecas, animadores, p\u00fablico y fan\u00e1ticos. Elementos que en su interacci\u00f3n han participado en su existencia y evoluci\u00f3n del g\u00e9nero urbano en este periodo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De igual forma, la elaboraci\u00f3n de esta investigaci\u00f3n permiti\u00f3 identificar las relaciones entre el dancehall y el reguet\u00f3n en la evoluci\u00f3n del movimiento urbano. G\u00e9neros musicales que guardan intr\u00ednsecas similitudes en cuanto al ritmo, por el cual los artistas urbanos de Guayaquil inclu\u00edan temas de ambos g\u00e9neros en sus producciones. Esta relaci\u00f3n entre ambos g\u00e9neros provoc\u00f3 la confusi\u00f3n entre sus fan\u00e1ticos, quienes no lograban identificarlos independientemente. Sin embargo, tanto el reguet\u00f3n como el dancehall consiguieron comercializarse a nivel nacional y se consolidaron en la escena musical de Guayaquil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El autor de la tesis explica que para la elaboraci\u00f3n del proyecto se investig\u00f3 en documentos bibliogr\u00e1ficos, sitios web, discos f\u00edsicos, repositorios digitales, para incorporar la informaci\u00f3n pertinente que sustent\u00f3 te\u00f3ricamente los aspectos hist\u00f3ricos, sociales, culturales y t\u00e9cnicos vinculados directamente con las producciones de estos g\u00e9neros urbanos en esa d\u00e9cada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Se determinaron artistas referentes que permitieron implantar el reguet\u00f3n y dancehall, quienes brindaron informaci\u00f3n sustantiva mediante sus respuestas a las preguntas previamente elaboradas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Como personajes entrevistados estuvieron Gustavo Lindao, Diva Eva, To\u00f1o Pack y Mercy Star. El primero de los mencionados, cuyo nombre art\u00edstico es \u201cDJ Capulina\u201d, aport\u00f3 con su experiencia como DJ y <em>beatmaker<\/em>, pues ha trabajado en producciones musicales de los grupos Ecual\u00edzate y Ecua Clan. Los dem\u00e1s contribuyeron con sus testimonios y permitieron reconstruir un relato que evidencie lo que represent\u00f3 el g\u00e9nero urbano en ese lapso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seg\u00fan Darwin Santill\u00e1n, el inicio del <em>reggae<\/em> en espa\u00f1ol se produjo a partir de la influencia del dancehall jamaiquino, a finales de la d\u00e9cada de 1980. Posteriormente, los artistas de Panam\u00e1 realizaron versiones en espa\u00f1ol de \u00e9xitos de reggae y dancehall. A comienzos de los 90, exponentes paname\u00f1os lograron a producir \u00e9xitos de <em>reggae<\/em> en espa\u00f1ol, denomin\u00e1ndolo plena o raggamufin, sin definir caracter\u00edsticas de g\u00e9nero musical.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por su parte, Puerto Rico desarroll\u00f3 el <em>underground<\/em>, fusionando el dancehall y el hiphop; en las primeras producciones de DJ Playero y DJ negro. En dichas grabaciones colaboraron artistas \u00edconos como H\u00e9ctor y Tito, Daddy Yankee, Ivy Queen. Los artistas boricuas crearon el t\u00e9rmino reguet\u00f3n y desarrollaron las caracter\u00edsticas musicales de este g\u00e9nero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Darwin Santill\u00e1n finaliza su tesis recomendando a los investigadores musicales, colegas artistas y compa\u00f1eros de la UArtes continuar indagando sobre estos g\u00e9neros urbanos porque son escasos los estudios acad\u00e9micos de este tipo en Guayaquil; a pesar de haber realizado un aporte importante a la m\u00fasica hecha en Ecuador.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cAn\u00e1lisis sociocultural y
