Músico profesional y educador en el área de percusión sinfónica, con especialidad en timpani y batería jazz. Conocimientos en dirección y administración curricular educativa y dirección de conjuntos.
Carlos Albán, músico y educador. Además de ser el fundador del Estudio de Percusión y del Quito Jazz Club, ha ejercido como Director Artístico y Director Ejecutivo de la Corporación Ecuatoriana de Formación Artística. En su destacada trayectoria, destaca su papel como Director Musical de la Sinfónica de Pichincha. Carlos ha trascendido fronteras, participando como músico invitado en giras internacionales y colaborando con nombres destacados en la escena musical, tales como Randy Brecker, Jorge Pardo, Dave Samuels, Perico Sambeat, entre otros. Su compromiso con la música y la educación ha dejado una marca imborrable en la escena musical ecuatoriana y más allá.
