The main headquarters of the University of the Arts is located in the city of Guayaquil, Ecuador. The University has an urban campus that is structured around the rehabilitation of heritage buildings situated in the downtown area. Each building provides spaces and facilities for artistic education and the promotion of arts and culture.

In the Government Palace, you can find the Araceli Gilbert, Humberto Salgado, and Pablo Palacio pavilions. In the first pavilion (Araceli Gilbert), there are, among others, the Academic Vice-Rectorate and the departments of Academic Planning, Academic Success Support, Pre-Professional Practices, Performing Arts, Sound Arts, Visual Arts, Film, Transversal, and Literature. In the second pavilion (Humberto Salgado), there are facilities for music ensembles, a filming studio, and “the Rectángulo”, as well as a recording studio, individual post-production booths, rooms, and teacher cubicles. In the third pavilion (Pablo Palacio), there are the Directorate of Student Affairs and University Community (DAESCU), the Medical Center, the Mixing Room, the Hippopotamus, the Pedagogy and Digital Tools laboratories, and classrooms.

The Centro de Producción e Innovación Mz14 building has a basement, three floors, and a rooftop terrace. The ground floor houses a multimedia room, a Public Plaza, the CIF Exhibition Room, the CIF Art Reserve, and the Curaduría. The first floor includes a meeting room, a Multimedia Workshop and FabLab, a Project Room, the Patrimonial Room, the Sound Experimentation Room, Sound Studio A, and a Creative Projects and Processes room. The second floor contains coworking spaces, a Community Engagement office, the Directorates of Production, Programming, and Mz14, ILIA, an Experimental Room, an Electroacoustics Workshop, Sound Studio B, Composition Booths A and B, a Music Ensemble room, and an Ethnomusicology Room. The third floor houses the Office of the Vice President for Graduate Studies and Arts Research, the Graduate Program Coordinators (VIP), the Editorial Office, residencies A and B, and the Film room. A cafeteria is located on the rooftop terrace. The building has both a main entrance and a secondary entrance.

The Enrique Tábara building, named after the renowned Guayaquil painter (1930-2021), has four floors and it is located in a structure previously occupied entirely by Correos del Ecuador (Ecuadorian Post Office). The music ensemble room, the El Garaje exhibition space, and the ceramic and sculpture workshops are located on the ground floor. On the upper floors, there are laboratories for digital and analog media, performing arts, visual creation workshops, painting workshops, workshops for the construction of ancestral instruments, a photography studio, a keyboard room, a makeup room, and eleven classrooms for professors.
