Ha sido docente en la Universidad San Francisco de Quito y la Universidad Tecnológica Equinoccial. Ha sido el Director Editorial de la Universidad de las Artes (2017-2019). Autor de varios artículos de crítica literaria en las revistas Crítica BUAP, Recodo.sx, entre otras. Co-autor del libro Poder y resistencia en la literatura latinoamericana (2019).
Actualmente es docente e investigador en la Escuela de Literatura de la Universidad de las Artes del Ecuador y Director Editorial de la Revista F-ILIA, del Instituto Latinoamericano de Investigación en Artes.
Licenciado en Relaciones Internacionales con un minor en Literatura Latinoamericana por la Universidad San Francisco de Quito (2009). Maestro en Literatura Latinoamericana (2011) y Letras Modernas (2017) por la Universidad Iberoamericana de México.
Académico invitado por la Universidad de Duke.
