Professionals with a third level degree who have a career related to the field of performing arts, and are looking for specialization or deepening of knowledge and skills in pedagogy, creation and integrated theoretical-practical research in the field of performing arts.
The graduate of the master's program in performing arts is a professional with knowledge and skills that promote a critical approach to the performing event. He/she will be able to explore new ways of accessing artistic creation and research, as well as the pedagogy of the performing arts from an integrated theoretical-practical approach. In addition to university teaching, his or her field of work includes academic research and advisory or consulting services in areas related to the performing arts phenomenon and community arts management.

En la Sala de Arte Contemporáneo II del Museo Municipal de Guayaquil, la alumni UArtes de pre y posgrado Rocío Soria expone «Imaginario Tropical», muestra que surgió de la investigación de “El pensamiento manglar” y que ya llevó a Cuenca y Quito. En el mismo espacio expositivo del cabildo porteño, la artista presentó su portafolio, cita a la que acudieron estudiantes de la Escuela de Artes Visuales.
Más allá de ser un momento del cierre de un periodo de gestión de máximas autoridades y, por tanto, el cierre de una etapa de la historia institucional de la UArtes, el rector, Dr. William Herrera, señaló a la sesión solemne del OCS, donde el TE entregó las credenciales a las nuevas máximas autoridades, como un acto de memoria, reconocimiento y proyección colectiva. Un momento para mirar el camino recorrido con honestidad y gratitud.
En cumplimiento de la Ley Orgánica de Educación Superior, Estatuto y Reglamento de Elecciones de la Universidad de las Artes, en la Plaza Pública del MZ14 UArtes se realizó este 16 de diciembre la ceremonia de entrega de credenciales a nuestras nuevas máximas autoridades, los doctores Saidel Brito, rector; Yulianela Pérez, vicerrectora Académica; y Andrey Astaiza, vicerrector de Posgrado e Investigación en Artes.
