Professionals with a Bachelor's Degree related to the literary field, the arts, education, social sciences, journalism or communication. Also, graduates in audiovisual techniques, multimedia and audiovisual production, social sciences or humanities in general.
Summary of the graduate profile
The graduate of the program is capable of working in various fields of creative writing: production of literary works, scripts and screenplays for the press, theater, radio, film or television. They will also be able to work as writers or advisors in the production of content in the fields of music, digital media, audiovisuals, among others. He/she may also work as a teacher or in the editorial field and in the communications areas of public and private institutions.
Submit two letters of recommendation from academics and/or professionals in the field of literature.
Submit a creative writing sample of your own.
Submit a curriculum vitae with copies of professional and educational certificates.
Submit a letter of motivation that explains your interests in pursuing a Master's degree.
Conduct an interview with the Program Committee.
Properly complete the admission forms for the UArtes Graduate Program within the established deadline.
Complete all other formalities and procedures for the payment of tuition and fees established by UArtes.

En cuatro escenarios, uno de ellos extramuros, la Escuela de Posgrados y la Maestría en Artes Visuales y Nuevos Medios inauguraron este jueves 5 de marzo la exposición “Tierras Raras”, la cual presenta los proyectos de titulación de sus maestrandos: José Luis Espinoza, Fernando Falconí, David Moncayo, David Barberán, Enrique Landívar, Andrea Moreira, Gabriel Arroyo, Silvia (Syl) Quezada, Mariví Suárez, Pedro González, Iván Basurto, Jorge (Chay) Velasco y Jimmy Lara.
La Maestría en Gestión de la Cultura y de las Artes se inició hace año y medio y en comunidad la Escuela de Posgrados UArtes mostró los trabajos finales de su primera cohorte. El vicerrector Andrey Astaiza destacó el impacto que tiene en la cultura nuestra carrera de cuarto nivel y su coordinadora, Ángela Arboleda, resaltó el momento compartido para pensar la cultura desde el diálogo, la experiencia y la comunidad.
En la jornada que la Biblioteca de las Artes organizó para conmemorar el Día del Bibliotecario Ecuatoriano, que se celebra cada 21 de febrero, la Maestría en Gestión de la Cultura y de las Artes tuvo espacio. La magíster Ángela Arboleda, su coordinadora, participó compartiendo su experiencia en el ámbito y comentando el interés que tiene el programa de posgrado de que los procesos culturales se desarrollen con más potencia.
