Through Resolution No. UA-OCS-RSE-2025-038, dated May 14, 2025, the University Council of the University of the Arts issues the Personal Data Protection Policy of the University of the Arts, which guarantees the protection of personal data for all those who are part of and maintain relationships with the university community at large.
This protocol is mandatory for all members and individuals affiliated with the University of the Arts. It identifies those responsible for, in charge of, and delegated to oversee personal data protection at the University of the Arts.

Data Processor
The data processor acts alone or jointly with others and processes personal data on behalf of and under the instructions of the data controller. Data processors include titleholders, officers, or alternates acting as Directors, Coordinators, or Secretaries of academic and administrative units, as well as students, officials, and employees who, due to the nature of their position or duties, have access to information containing personal data. They are required to maintain confidentiality, refrain from disclosure, safeguard such information, and comply with the applicable regulations regarding the obligations set forth in the Organic Law on Personal Data Protection.

Data Protection Officer
The Data Protection Officer informs the data controller or processor of their legal obligations regarding data protection, oversees and monitors regulatory compliance in this area, and cooperates with the Personal Data Protection Authority whenever permanent, systematic oversight is required due to the volume, nature, scope, or purposes of this entity's data processing activities.
