Elections – 2025 Process – Senior Authorities

In the exercise of its duties and powers, the Electoral Tribunal of the University of the Arts is pleased to announce the opening of the election process for the institution's senior authorities. Through Resolution No. UA-OCS-RSO-2025-64, the University Council approved the call for elections to select the President, the Academic Vice President, and the Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research in the Arts.

Our duty is to organize and oversee this electoral process, ensuring legal certainty, transparency, and efficiency.

According to the approved schedule, the electoral process will begin with the call for elections on September 23, 2025, followed by candidate registration from September 24 to October 7, 2025, and election day, which will take place on December 2, 2025, with the possibility of a runoff on December 8, 2025, if necessary. Voting will be in person and mandatory for all constituencies: faculty, students, and administrative and support staff.

We count on the participation of the entire university community to carry out a democratic and transparent process. As the Electoral Tribunal, we will ensure that the electoral campaign does not make use of public resources and that all established regulations are duly complied with. Everyone's cooperation is essential to the success of this election.
