This is a space where the convergence of sound and acoustic phenomena is made possible. Through communication, technologies, technical supports, and production methods, graduates will be able to master the multidisciplinary field by embracing key practices for the development of multimedia processes. The main goal of this program is two fold: to analyze and design sound practices as an interdisciplinary creative proposal and to master new technologies applied to the sonic and artistic context.
The graduate will have a variety of tools that will enable them to professionally develop in musical, sound, and multidisciplinary projects. In addition to their ability to complete full productions, including album production, arranging, handling equipment and software, and applying acoustic concepts, they will be able to create innovative artistic proposals and engage in fields such as film, live sound, sound design, or performing arts. The graduate is also prepared to integrate into the national and international academic community as a teacher or researcher in the field of sound and the arts.
